Maxine has been styling my hair for over 15 years now and I must say my hair has never been healthier. When I first came to Maxine by referral only as I am very particular in who styles my hair, I was still chemically straightening my hair, coloring it and did not like to cut my hair for any reason. So my hair continued to break and get shorter. Then Maxine advised, treatments in between the coloring and straightening but with regular haircuts. So I listened and followed her instructions. Then about 9 years ago Maxine advised me to stop chemically straightening my hair and just blow dry and style with regular haircuts and treatments. After that I was able to color my hair how ever I wanted without stressing my hair. Also my naturally curly hair is softer and way more manageable despite its thickness. I get compliments all the time on my hair and  asked who styles my hair and strangers wanting to touch my hair as they believe it's a wig. Maxine has been taking care of my hair since 2014 When I first came to see her my hair was in horrible shape. I told her that I could not grow my hair any longer than it currently was (just touching my shoulders). If you look at my before & after photos you can see that Maxine knows what she is doing! When I got married in 2017 my hair was halfway down my bum! Wow. Maxine not only gets to know your hair, she truly cares about it and you. She does your hair, nurtures it,  provides you with the proper product, gives you tools on how to take care of your hair at home and never tries to over-sell you on anything.
